Sarah has a special interest in sexual health and works both as a GP at the Dove practice and also at Whittall Street Genitourinary Medicine Clinic in central Birmingham as a speciality doctor.

She has an interest in family planning and works in the family planning clinic, fitting coils, implants and advising on all contraceptive matters. She also has a diploma in dermatology and is happy to advise on genital skin problems.

Ted has been associated with the care of sexual health all his working life and for over 3 decades has treated sexually transmitted infections both at the busy Whittall Street Clinic in the heart of Birmingham and also from his GP surgery in Erdington, where the SHC has now been running since June 2004 under his supervision.

Ted has published many articles on sexual health and gives lectures to doctors, nurses and other health professionals on the topic of STIs and is determined to remove the myths and mysteries of sexual health making good care available to all.

Ramez is a very experienced qualified surgeon and is family planning trained.

He counsels and fits Implanon contraceptive implants and coils for the SHC, as well as advising on all contraceptive issues.

He is also qualified as a trainer for other doctors in Family Planning.

Jan started her career in nursing, then went into midwifery, where she rose to managerial levels and then took a career change, for practice nursing.

Her previous career made her particularly talented to be responsible for contraceptive care and since 2004 she has held a sexual health clinic on a weekly basis for the SHC.

Wendy is the SHC Health Advisor; her role is to delicately deal with the difficult task of tracing other partners who may have been infected during the transmission of sexually transmitted infections.

Another part of her job is to be there for people who have problems and questions that are difficult to solve alone. She is an experienced nurse and counsellor.

Gareth Williams is our Practice Manager and gives us the background support we need in terms of Administration IT etc.

Gareth recently joined us from a commercial background.  He has a lot of experience in managing commercial partnerships and has both accounts and personnel management experience.
